Chris Meagher is a retired General Motors executive with 42 years of experience in the propulsion system area of engineering. After joining GM in 1979, he held positions as an engine development engineer, design release engineer, and global chief engineer & program manager of 4-cylinder engines, before becoming Executive Director for Global Engine (SI & CI ICE), Transmission (AT, MT, CVT, & DCT), & Electrification Hardware (batteries, power electronics, electric motors), a position held until retiring. Chris holds a BSME from the University of Notre Dame, is a licensed Professional Engineer (state of Michigan) and has served on Engineering Advisory Boards for several universities. He has served on the Main Street Pontiac Board, is a volunteer with Team Rubicon and Information Technology Disaster Relief Center (both disaster relief organizations), and currently serves on the Boards for the Pontiac International Technical Academy Foundation, the Central Detroit Christian Development Center, and the Leader Foundry. Chris is married with 4 children and 4 grandchildren and currently resides in Livonia, MI.
